Purpose /Goal:
Transplant outreach has become a critical component that many transplant programs use to better engage with referring providers, market services, and expand care within a patient’s community.  Two centers will share their experiences, strategies, and innovations around transplant networking and outreach.
Target Audience:
Members of the donation and transplantation community serving diverse populations to include administrators, coordinators, physicians, nurses, surgeons, managers, quality improvement specialists, social workers, and other donation and transplantation center professionals and their colleagues.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the webinar, participants should be able to:
  • Identify different strategies employed at other transplant centers to improve and expand outreach efforts.
  • List different approaches to outreach and discuss how to best partner with clinical staff and faculty.
  • Explain how two different transplant centers engaged referring providers and increased their referral base.
  • Describe innovations and strategies that can be used to improve overall transplant networking and outreach programs.
